The Town of Bethany Beach is required by the State of Delaware to provide a separate yard waste collection.

Only yard waste may be included in this special pickup. This service requires residents to place all yard waste in either a container clearly labeled as "Yard Waste", a compostable plastic bag (not just any plastic bag) or a paper yard waste bag.

January through March	entire Town every other Tuesday
April through mid-May	entire Town every Tuesday
May through September
Zone 1 (east of Route 1)	every Tuesday
Zone 2 (west of Route 1)	every Monday
October through December	entire Town every Tuesday

The cost to the home owner is collected with your annual real estate property tax.

Special arrangements may be made for communities that share a common dumpster.  A representative of the condo or homeowner's association will need to work with the Town.
