"I have made it a rule, ever since the beginning of my episcopate, to make no decision
merely on the strength of my own personal opinion without consulting you
(priests and deacons), and without the approbation of the people." -St. Cyprian, Bishop of Carthage, circa 248 A.D. |

2/08/07 Please join us on Tuesday Dear Members and Friends of Coastal Delmarva VOTF: Please join us on Tuesday (note change in our usual meeting day), February 20 at the South Coastal Library in Bethany Beach. Our guest that evening will be Dr. James Walsh, a Pastoral Counselor in private practice in Newark, DE, who will speak to us on "Childhood Sexual Abuse: An Overview of Short-Term and Long-Term Consequences." Dr. Walsh has extensive experience in this area. He teaches at Wilmington College in their Counseling Program and serves on the Delaware Board of Mental Health and Chemical Dependency. This is an excellent opportunity to increase our knowledge of the subject and be better prepared in our advocacy of Senate Bill 29 on behalf of childhood victims of sexual abuse. Please try to attend and bring a friend! Attached is a flyer to help with publicity. With fiercest hope, Skip Sullivan Flyer; Jim Walsh Home>Archives |
