service is $32.00 regardless of the months you will actually use the
service.
Citizens may participate
in our recycling effort by filling out the application attached to this
notice and returning to the Town Hall or mailing to the address on the
application. The application is also available on the town’s website at

SPECIAL
NOTICE TO CONDO OWNERS OR RESIDENTS WHO SHARE
ONE
COMMON DUMPSTER IN THEIR COMMUNITY
The Delaware Solid Waste
Authority policy mandates the DSWA will only
provide one common recycling container for shared use in communities that
share a common dumpster for general refuse. DSWA
policy also mandates that a pick up fee be charged
every homeowner in this type
of community if the community elects to participate in the recycling
initiative. In other words; if there are 20 homes in your condo
development, all 20 homes must fill out the application for participation
and all 20 homes must pay the yearly $32.00 bill. Should your condo
association wish to pursue a plan where the association pays for all members
once a year (possibly collected with association dues) please contact the
Town Manager’s Office at 302-537-3771 and we will attempt to make those
types of arrangements.
