U.S. Postal Service begins mail delivery east of Route 1.  Read THE DELAWARE WAVE of January 23, 2002 local newspaper article.  Download US Postal Service, if you want a copy of the letter issued by the Bethany Beach, DE postmaster advising that mail delivery will begin.  If you want US mail delivered to your home, download USPS Form 4027 (Petition For Change In Rural Delivery) and submit a copy to:  Postmaster, 14 Pennsylvania Avenue, Bethany Beach, DE 19930-9998 using your address information.  USPS Form 4056 provides instructions on how to install a rural mailbox.
