Tony McClenny has done a terrific job in his years as a member of the Bethany Beach Town Council, including his service as Vice Mayor. He should be re-elected—and, I’m hoping, by a well-deserved landslide. Mr. McClenny’s service has truly been selfless; he has been responsive to issues as they have arisen, thoughtful and balanced in his responses, and meticulous about follow-through. In particular, he has been accessible and helpful to individual citizens. He has worked to ensure that both residents and non-residents are aware of Town happenings and local topics. His communications have been important to keeping us all focused on the important issues and away from the trivial distractions that sometimes arise in local government.
