There was no election in September, 2005 as the only candidates for office were the three incumbents.  One could opine that this is good for the town as our current Town Council members appear to be working hard, effectively, and together as a team.

Can you believe it happened again!  Due to the resignation of Robert Degen, Council Member, in April, 2005, our town council will meet at 2:00 P.M. on May 20, 2005 to elect a new town council member.

The following candidates sought election to Town Council in the Special Election held on May 20, 2005:

Jerry Dorfman          John Gaughan          Joseph Healy, Jr.          Tracy Mulligan          Roger Street

Due to the retirement of Joseph McHugh, our previous mayor, in early January, 2005 our town council met on January 15, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. to elect a new town council member.  Following the election of a new town council member, the town council then elected our new Mayor, new Vice Mayor and new Secretary/Treasurer.
